The High Street congregation is a spiritual family in the truest sense, and we rejoice when we add a new member, whether by birth, transfer of membership or confession of faith. Please join us for worship!
Our widely varied congregation includes families with children of all ages, singles, retirees, college students and more.
High Street offers two Sunday morning worship services in our sanctuary: a contemporary praise and worship service at 8:30 a.m., and a traditional Methodist service at 11:00 a.m.
Our Sunday School classes are tailored to all ages, beginning at age three. We are richly blessed with children; children's time is held during both worship services, and a nursery for infants is provided during worship services and Sunday School.
Opportunities for lay participation by every member of the church are numerous.
High Street United Methodist Church is actively involved in outreach and missions at local, national and global levels.
Frequent church-wide and age-specific events provide Christian fellowship and fun. We have active children's and adult's choirs, children groups, singles activities, women's circles, weekly Bible studies, Boy and Cub Scouting, and many fellowship dinners, workshops, children's activities, young adult programs, nursing home/shut-in outreach - and much, much more.
