¨ There will  be Lemonade on the Lawn immediately following the 11:00 service today sponsored by the UMW.  Please join us for a cup of cool lemonade and a cookie.

¨ There will not be any Sunday School next Sunday,  September 12, since it is Bronco Club Sunday.

¨ The Open Door Café will be closed next Sunday, September 12, since it is Bronco Club Sunday.

¨ Soup for Supper will resume Thursday, September 9.  The first pancake supper will be Thursday, September 30.  Join us each Thursday at 6:00pm for food and fellowship.

¨ Monthly Prayer Breakfasts will resume Monday, September 13, at 8:00am in the Fellowship Hall.

¨ The Franklin Cooperative Ministries Food Pantry is in desperate need.  The shelves are bare!  To restock their shelves, they are asking each church in the area to focus on one particular item. High Street UMC has been asked to collect Jiffy Muffin Mix.  The next time you are shopping for your family, please pick up a box or two of muffin mix.  You can drop your donations off in the boxes in the fellowship hall or in the education building.

¨ All are welcome at High Street United Methodist Church, just as all are welcomed into Christ.  We receive new members into the church the fourth Sunday of each month.  If you are interested in joining the church, or would like more information, please contact Rev. Reaves at 562-3367.
