    Below is a listing of the various children's activites at High Street United Methodist Church.
    Acolytes
    Acolytes are selected during the Fourth Grade year to provide this important worship procedure. These are designated as Junior Acolytes, with any child who has a at least one-year experience being designated as a Senior Acolyte. The program will include activities to enhance the understanding and appreciation of worship practices.
    Births
    Births are recognized by the placing of a rosebud in the Chancel. If you have a birth announcement, let us know at births@hsumconline.org.
    Bibles for Third Graders
    Bibles for Third Graders are provided annually during the morning Worship services
    Birthday Cards
    Birthday Cards are sent by Sunday School teachers to each child on their class list.
    Cards and Gifts to Hospitalized Children
    Cards and Gifts to Hospitalized Children are sent to any known child who is hospitalized. If you know of a child with a special need, please let us know at hospcontacts@hsumconline.org.
    Children's Bulletins
    Children's Bulletins are provided for the children attending the Worship Services.
    Children's' Choirs
    For information on the "Joyful Noise" Children's Choir, for children age 3 through fifth grade please contact Cara Butler at 562-4986 or email us at childchoir@hsumconline.org.
    Children's Library
    Children's Library provides books and tapes to our Sunday School program.
    Church Picnic
    We meet at the Bronco Club in early September for our Church Picinic and Worship Service.
    Cub Scouts
    Cub Scout Pack 17 has a tremendous program for all scouts.  The cubs participate in a variety of activities including the Pinewood Derby, Scouting for Food, camping and scout shows. There is at least one Pack activity each month.Contact our Leader at cubscouts@hsumconline.org.
    Easter Egg Hunt
    An Easter Egg Hunt is provided by the Senior High and Junior High UMYF and includes refreshments and an Easter Egg Hunt for toddlers through Third Grade Sunday school students.
    Harvest Celebration
    The Harvest Celebration is provided by the Senior UMYF and includes activities and game booths. Each child is to bring a pumpkin.
    Vacation Bible School
    VBS was held June 22 - Julne 26, 2009.  We had around 100 participants per day. Look for our 2009 pictures soon. Contact our Leader at VBS@hsumconline.org.
