| Adult Choir |
The Chancel Choir meets on Thursdays at 7:30 pm., except during the months of July and August. This is the perfect opportunity for YOU to praise God in a new and very special way — please join us! We are not professionals, but we love to lift our voices in a joyful noise to the Lord. We can offer you fun, fellowship and spiritual growth, as we learn and sing inspiring anthems to our Creator’s glory. There surely is no more uplifting way to worship God than through song. Add your voice to our musical praise — you’ll be glad you did!

| Sunday School |
Sunday School is held each Sunday from 9:45 a.m to 10:45 a.m. Our church has a staffed nursery available, divided into a crib room for infants and a play area for toddlers up to age two. We also have a two-year old Sunday School class and a preschool class for children ages 3 through 5. The kindergarten and first grade children meet together, as do the second and third graders and the fourth and fifth grade children.
Students in grades 5-8 meet in the junior high room while students in grades 9-12 meet in the senior high room. The junior and senior high rooms are located adjacent to the church in the Powell House, using whatever room is needed.
We have a variety of adult classes. The 20-30-40 Something Class meets in that part of the church in back of the Sanctuary, as does the Dave Trader Class. The Good Shepherd Class meets in the Vaughan Parlor located in the Frankfort Memorial Church House. The Maxie Bible Class for men and the Friendship Bible Class for women meet across the street in the Frankfort Memorial Fellowship Hall. These two groups use the "Adult Bible Studies" series based on the International Lessons.
All Sunday School classes are open to new members or guests at all times. Please come join us. |

| United Methodist Women |

The UMW meets once a month with a variety of programs. The purpose of the UMW encompasses mission education, spiritual growth, and social action with a continuing focus on the needs of women, children and youth. This group contributes to the Red Bird Mission and the Henderson Settlement in the mountains of Kentucky, the Welsey Community Center in Portsmouth, United Methodist Family Services, the Seamen's House and the Children's Center in Franklin. They also contribute to the support of our church-sponsored missionary, our Sunday School and District Missions. In addition, they sponsor the Ann Douglas Scholarship Fund, which is available to students pursuing education toward a vocation in ministry. They also care for the shut-ins of our church with cards, visits, and small gifts.
The UMW invites all women to come and join in fellowship and in the work of Jesus Christ our Lord. Click Here to learn more about the UMW. |
